Tag! You are it!

My friend Traci tagged me ...

Picture Tag!

The object of picture tag is to:
1) Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on your computer
2) Select the 4th picture in the folder
3) Explain the picture
4) Tag 4 people to do the same

NO CHEATING! (cropping, editing, etc!)
Here is mine.....
This picture is adorable!!! This is Cameron at preschool his first year. It was in June - Father's Day - Daddys got to go to school. Cameron got to draw a picture of himself and his daddy. Well, Daddy drew his own face. But isn't it cute????

Christmas Chaos ...

So - we got together with this Bithell's this weekend to do our Christmas together before they leave for Canada.

Our gatherings are always very loud but very fun:)

I couldn't post today without adding a pic of this!

I hope you enjoyed the posts - and the pics. It's been a LONG time since all three of my kids have napped. It probably will be a long time before it happens again. But I promise to post when we get back from the cruise with Christmas and vacation pics - even if it means locking the kids in the basement with their new toys :)

Snip - Snip -

Why is it that my boys have more hair than my baby girl??? Cohen had the funkiest little fly-aways over his ears and he was starting to get a little messy in the back. So, of course, I had to have it trimmed this weekend.
He did so well (Could've been the sucker in his mouth!)

I promise to get a good after shot this weekend!

The Griswold Tree ...

So - a few Saturdays ago, we set out to find the PERFECT tree for Christmas.

It was close to 27 degrees that day ... so as the minutes went by, we started to look for a tree that didn't have two trunks ... then a tree that didn't have a HUGE gaping empty spot on the back.

I think our lips were frozen and the poor kids were SUCH troopers. Would you believe that we left the tree farm with NOTHING. Then we went to a local lot ... and left with NOTHING. And then went to Home Depot ... yep, NOTHING. We ended up forking over an arm and a leg at a local nursery, but we got a great tree. Of course I don't have a picture of it. But the pictures of us hunting for it are more fun anyway :)

So much to do ... so little time ...

I don't even have time to breathe these days, let alone post ...

Tomorrow is Kennedy's Christmas party at school. Friday is her Christmas program, Cameron's Christmas party (that I am organizing) and then we leave for Louisville by 3:30. The kids are SOOOO excited to go to Kentucky - and we get to meet Nana's new dog, Gus!

When we get home, Christmas is right around the corner!!! I need to have the invitations out for Aunt Natalie's baby shower (which is Jan 31st) by the time we leave for the cruise on Jan 3!!! My gosh, haven't even had time to get excited about that. Not sure if the kids have clothes that fit them or not ... we'll find out next week :)

Then we get home from the cruise Jan 10th. The baby shower is the 31st and then Cohen's first birthday party is the next week. Feb 7th. Yep, you read that right, my baby will be ONE before I know it. If I wasn't so darn busy to think about anything right now, I think I'd have to be medicated because I really am not liking the idea at all. I don't like that the next 6 weeks will fly by like 6 days and next thing you know Cameron will be SEVEN and Kennedy will be FIVE. Let's not talk about that now ...

Let's enjoy Christmas ...

And the pics of Cohen's first haircut, and all of the other things that we've been doing the past few weeks when I haven't been able to update the blog ;) I'll get to them asap ...

Thankful ...

Well, I actaully have a few spare minutes and I thought I'd share some pics of our Thanksgiving weekend with Nana, Grandpa Bill, and Aunts Amy and Lindsey.

Nana, Amy and Lindsey prepared Grandmother Gresham's rolls...
Cameron set the table ...
Cohen enjoyed the fire :)

Before we stuffed ourself - we posed for a pic!
Then Kennedy enjoyed Guitar Hero with Nana.
and Rudy enjoyed playing with Lindsey :)

It's Christmastime!!!

We went to see Santa last week ... Cohen LOVED him. It was so cute. And no one was afraid - that was a first!!!

I don't REALLY want to talk about it ...

But denial isn't going to slow it down any ... I know.

Cohen is now 9 months old. He went to the Dr on Thursday for his 9 month well visit. He weighs 22.3 lbs and is 30.5 inches long. He's a BIG boy, but he's healthy and GREAT! And he didn't even cry when he got his shot. He didn't even notice!!

Here are some shots that Natalie took last week. If you aren't just a freaky stalker and you'd like to see the rest, send me an email or leave me a comment and I'll email you the link :)

The moments I live for ...

Earlier this week, there was a tiny bit of snow on the ground when the kids and I rolled out of bed in the morning.

I told Cameron to peek out the window and see what there was. When I walked around the corner I see him holding the baby up to the window. And in the most loving voice he says "look buddy, it's your first Christmas!" It was SO sweet!!!

Of course, Cohen likes the snow just as much as they do. So, when Cameron went out to get a bowl full to play with/eat, he was happy to share with his brother. He's one of them :)''

Little secrets...

I'm wondering HOW on earth moms got ready before soaking tubs ... oh, you're telling me that I could get up at 5:30 and get ready before they even wake up??? But why? When I can catch a few more ZZZs and then they can enjoy some fun in the tub while I get ready!

Happy Birthday TO YOU...Until next year :)

So - we are done celebrating the kids birthdays. Saturday we had the family over and it was such a great day.

Cohen even got involved with blowing out the candles. Kennedy wouldn't do hers alone - she asked for Carly's help :)

Austin and his sister compared bellies ... we are SO excited to find out what she's having at her shower in January. Although ... I'm hosting the shower, so I ALREADY KNOW ;) What's your guess?!

Then we opened presents. Kennedy chose to open hers in her new winter coat?!

Cameron was SO excited for his Pokemon cards!

Kennedy and her best friend Carly had a GREAT time playing dress up!

The whole family enjoyed Dart Tag!!! All of the guys got involved. Thanks Janie :)

Distracted ...

So ... I should be posting about the birthday party for Cameron and Kennedy yesterday - but I'm distracted by this adorable little guy that can't get enough pulling himself up on the tables (pulling off bowls of decorative pumpkins as we speak ... and shooing Austin's hand off of him). He's just grown SO much in the past few weeks.

He is now saying HIIIII when he waves. He is starting to make kissing noises when you kiss him. And currently he is scrunching up his nose and laughing his butt off at Austin as he tries to correct him. He looks at me and smiles to make sure that I think he's ABSOLUTELY adorable and then he does it again and looks at Austin. My gosh he's cute.

I'm not sure when they're supposed to figure these things out ... but he LOVES this ball toy. He puts the ball in it over and over and over. He giggles when it comes back out the other side. And then he does it again. He's just so cute ... Remind me that when he's up at 3, 4 and 5 tomorrow morning ;)

Cameron's birthday ...

We are STILL celebrating birthdays ... we started two weeks ago and we'll be complete this Saturday when the family comes for dinner...

Monday was Cam's special day. We started out by giving him a Star Wars ship that he LOVED. And so does his daddy and brother :) Then he had a playdate at our house with his buddies Noah and Josh.

That night we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate Cam's birthday and Kennedy's too. This has become a tradition for us. I think Daddy enjoyed it as much as the kids :)

We did get a cute shot with Chucky!!!

As we were walking out of Chuck E Cheese - Cameron says "we forgot to sing happy birthday". CRAP, we did!! So, we say we will when we get home, how about a cupcake?? Or ice cream?? No - he wants cake. Now, remember we didn't eat A BIT of Kennedy's ... so ... when we got home, we made do with a chocolate chip cookie :)

Football Finale ...

Sunday was Cameron's last flag football game. He had such a good time playing, we'll surely sign him up next year!

This is how Cohen spent a lot of the games ...

This is how Kennedy spent her time ...

Cameron had a ball! And he LOVES his trophies!!!

Trick or Treat!

Right smack dab in the middle of the birthdays - we celebrate Halloween. And more importantly to the kids, Trick-or-Treat!!!

We carved an Ariel pumpkin and a Boba Fett pumpkin.

We went trick-or-treating with McKenna and Bryant...some of our best buds!

Kennedy was the cutest blaster carrying Cinderella :)

Cohen looked SO cute in the lion costume that Cam wore for his first Halloween. Although it was SMALL on him and Cameron wore it 4 days before he turned one! Cohen did try to sleep thru the whole thing ... but when we got home, he saw that there was CANDY. He enjoyed his first sucker...he LOVED it. And then he was surely on a high!!!

Preschool memories ...

Kennedy had her first preschool party last week. She was SO cute. She sang all of the little pumpkin songs and her little friend, Lydia, had the same costume. They were adorable!!

Kennedy's Birthday ...

She had a GREAT day ...
We started off at the Columbus Science Center (COSI)...then we had pizza...and we finished by carving pumpkins!! Daddy picked up a cake on his way home from work - which we didn't eat a bit of ... but at least we got to sing and blow out candles!!!

There are many mornings that I ask her what she wants for breakfast and her response is "macaroni" ... she's going to turn into macaroni and cheese this girl. Well, on her birthday, I asked her what she wanted - since it was her special day. She chose macaroni - so that's what she got!!!

And ... HE'S OFF!!!

Cohen is officially mobile. He's a crawling mad-man. It may have taken him a little longer to get to this point than his brother and sister, but you wouldn't know it to see him now.

I caught some of his first movements when we were at COSI last week. He was crawling to get to a toy - once he got there, he pulled it right down on his forehead. OUCH that hurt his ego!

He's also started to wave AND clap. He's getting SO big!!!
