SO BIG ...

Cohen just started waving the past few days ... he's SO cute.

My gosh - the baby won't even be 9 months old until November 7th and look how big he is!! This outfit is 6-9 months. He fits very well in his 12-18 month hand-me-downs. SAD!

Congratulations Kristan!!!

SHE MADE IT!!! Kristan graduated with her Bachelors in Business Information Systems today. CONGRATULATIONS KRISTAN!

Kennedy was so excited to give her auntie Kris a rose!

And Congratulations mom and dad - your THREE kids are out of college. Now THAT'S an accomplishment!!!
Kennedy had a BLAST with her big friend Tiffany - can you see the "Oh my gosh, I'm so happy" grin on her face?! :)
Kristan and Keith...
Kristan and Cody ...

Sisters ...

Who said a 9-month-old shouldn't enjoy a little s'more?? :)

Risky business...

Friday night, Austin and I went to a Halloween skating party. It STARTED at 10:30 - as we were getting ready at 9:30 at night, we thought WHAT are we doing? We are way too old and have way too many kids for this :)

But, once we got our costumes on, we seemed to be more in the mood!

Once we got there and saw everyone else and got on skates - we had a great time!
This guys costume CRACKED ME UP. I can't believe he had the courage to do it - but it was HILARIOUS!

I wonder if I'll have to give a speech ... ?

When I accept my Mother-Of-The-Year award.

I laid Cohen down on Kennedy's bed for FIVE seconds today (BETWEEN the two guard rails) ... and, you guessed it, THUMP - he fell right onto the floor!!! Somehow he got himself all turned around and wiggled down to the end of the bed and then right off! Man did I feel like crap. Although I'm a firm believer that every kid falls off of the bed at one point - Cameron's was while we was still sleeping in bed with us.

So then, I was fixing dinner and Cohen needed a bottle. Kennedy asked if she could feed him - I thought it was a great idea! UNTIL he wiggled off of her lap and ended up between the coffee table and the couch!

At least there was no blood ...

Can't keep her down ...

Even though her eye looks like this ...

She still comes home from her birthday party, opens a Hannah Montana guitar, SQUEALS and gets right up on the fireplace to dance and sing. NO FEAR! (Notice the nice blue fleece padding that now lays atop the fireplace though!)

Fun at the pumpkin patch ...

On Sunday, Cameron and Kennedy had 35 of their favorite friends at the pumpkin patch to help celebrate their 6th and 4th birthdays! My gosh - that's a lot of kids, but everyone had a ball!

My mom made the cakes - which were ADORABLE of course!
Kennedy actually had a bashful moment when we were singing to her - she hid under the table ... and even played peek-a-boo for about half of the song :)

I'm in denial ...

My baby is getting big. He's over 8 months old ... he likes to grab little pieces of food and puts them RIGHT in his mouth. He still doesn't sleep thru the night - but hey, that's overrated.

Check him out this evening.
He stands there like it's nothing ...
But, no, he isn't crawling yet!

It's impossible to be miserable here ...

So ... we were in the car, ALL packed up to go to the concert in GORGEOUS San Diego, California!

My phone rings ... "We are on our way to urgent care". Kennedy was showing off her latest Hannah Montana moves and landed right on the limestone hearth. CRACK. Luckily - Natalie was awesome, packed everyone up and got Kennedy right where she needed to be. We spent the next 3 hours on the phone back and forth, until Kennedy was finally done. Thirteen stitches later and NOT ONE TEAR! She didn't even fuss. She is SUCH a trooper ... I'm sure I was way worse than she was :) (I shed A LOT of tears!)

So - I try to enjoy what's left of the pre-party in the parking lot. These girls were so much fun to be around ... especially in a crisis!

I had to pose with my hubby by this gorgeous sunset!
At the show, of course I enjoyed a few cocktails to help me relax a bit (hey, we WERE in Margaritaville)...it also lessened my awareness of where my cell phone was...Austin claims he heard it fall in the porta potty. I didn't hear a thing ... all I know is I'm thankful that Verizon had my replacement here today!

Friday we tried to leave the drama behind. With a view like this - who could have a care in the world? La Jolla is GORGEOUS!

I had no idea I'd be seeing seals that day!
Really??? I thought this was only on the Discovery Channel!

We enjoyed our evening out in San Diego - thanks for a GREAT time with new friends and old :)

While I was wastin away again ...

My little girl was busting her head open on the fire place and being rushed to the Childrens Hospital Close to Home center to get 13 stitches.

Yes THIRTEEN stitches.

And ... my cell phone is at the bottom of a port-a-potty in Chula Vista, California.

Mother Of The Year Award - here I come.

Wastin' away again ...

In Margaritaville ...

You've got that right - I'm going to be MIA for a few days. Austin and I are travelling 2, 267 miles to San Diego (Chula Vista to be exact) to experience the Jimmy Buffett concert with our great friends Kim and Jeff and some of their HUGE parrothead friends (one of which has attended FIFTEEN Buffett concerts!) It's sure to be an experience - I hope to remember the majority of it ;) Of course there will be pics.

Please pray for the less fortunate ones that will be home with our munchkins ;) And our munchkins for that matter!

Precious times ...

So Kennedy wanted to feed Cohen this morning ... great thing is, he took the ENTIRE bottle from her ... which he rarely does.
It's sad - he's nearly as long as she is ... Notice his little toes curled around her feet ...

Aren't their faces precious? Look at her left hand right on his little face!
