You try getting three kids to look at the camera AND smile!

But they're still cute!

Fun on the water ...

Again this year we rented a pontoon boat. We love getting out on the water! This year we rented a jet ski for the entire time we had the boat too. It was a lot of fun - Austin was surprised when I drove it, I'm not the chicken he thought I was!

Cameron wasn't at all interested in getting on the jet ski ... until he saw his sister do it.

Then he HAD to do it. They had fun, Kennedy was bored :)

Cameron feels at home on a boat ...

So does Cohen ... maybe a future purchase for us???

We beached the boat for some sand time and lunch. Just look at everyone ... waiting for lunch to be "served". Poor mom ... when does SHE get a vacation??

One of the most beautiful places on earth ...

Seaside, Florida ... especially when you're with your family!

Happy Birthday Granpa ...

We miss you!

Memories ...

My laptop is still dead (Austin is putting in my new hard drive as I type on his desktop!) ... but I'm going thru withdrawal and I had to add some pics from vacation!

For those of you that didn't know - the tornado/water spout that we saw on the beach wasn't the end of the bad weather. Of our 5/6 days there ... only 2 were good beach days. It was a bummer, but we still managed to still make some good memories.

As always - we started off as a huge caravan ...

We hit the beach IMMEDIATELY and Cohen got to put his feet in the ocean for the first time!

Of course, mom tried to carry WAY too much too and from the beach!

Dad drove the pontoon - it was a BLAST!

Austin smiled for one of the 411 pictures that I took (imagine if we had more beach time - it would've been more like 1400 pics!)

Kelly enjoyed a book, but didn't get to finish it due to the lack of beach time :(

Keith FINALLY got to rent his jet ski!

Bryan tried oysters - YUCK!

Kristan made us all smile - making a tire swing look glamorous :)

Cameron enjoyed the beach as usual.

Kennedy made a new friend.

And Cohen made looking gorgeous look easy!

You don't see this every day ...

We were sitting on the patio watching the storm come in ... about the time it hit land and our patio furniture was lifted up off of the ground and thrown toward the next house, we all RAN inside!

Making memories ....

No time for text - I'm eating pancakes on the beach ... but I wanted to post some highlights of the past 3 days. Jet skis, pontoon boats, Cohen's first experience on the beach - WE LOVE IT!

God made dirt ...

Dirt won't hurt ... but THIS much?

Note to self - do NOT try to make your own Reynolds hot bags ... the sides open too easily when your husband tries to take them off of the grill!

Cameron's Spring Performance

So, last night was Cameron's final performance at his preschool. They put on an adorable play - "The Lost Mitten". Cameron was a bunny rabbit. He looked SO cute and knew all of the words!

He was doing a great job, then he started playing with his rabbit hat ...

The teachers said this is something they loved to do during rehearsal ...
Cameron got his down so far that he couldn't get it back up ...

Then ... he ripped it trying to get it back up! The poor little guy was devastated. We finally got him to smile with bribes of rice krispie treats and lots of duct tape for the hat! (Notice the devastation on the face of Owen - his friend to the left, and then the grasshopper ended up crying too!)

Man boobs

If you thought they were bad in the picture of Cohen rolling over for the first time - check out this!

Best Friends...

Not many people are lucky enough to have their best friend born just 5 days after them.

These two are best of friends ... they are just like sisters. Aren't they cute?

We went to see Carly's tap and tumble recital. I think Kennedy was a bit of a distraction, but Carly did GREAT and they always love seeing one another!

7 Things ...

I got tagged on Kim's Blog ... so here goes.

The rules:

Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some weird, some random.

Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

1. I think I'm addicted to shopping. I officially decided this last week - but it was confirmed tonight when I went to Meijer to pick up snorkel masks, fish nets (no, not hose, the kind the kids will use at the beach!) and tennis balls and came out with $80 worth of random things including buy-two get-two free chewy sprees, hooded towels for the kids and not including fish nets or tennis balls! I'm a sucker for the impulse buys!

2. I'm also addicted to email. My laptop sits on the built-in desk in my kitchen and I glance over for new messages each time I walk by. Probably averaging 20 times in an 8 hour period. SAD!

3. I LOVE babies. My mom told me recently "you can't keep having babies just because you like babies". WHY NOT? Oh yeah, they grow up ... but how can't you love this???

4. I drive too fast. When I pull away from a stop light and my 3 year old daughter says "Mommy - you're gonna get a ticket", do you think I should slow down a bit? No wonder I'm getting 13 miles to the gallon!

5. I'm a picture-a-holic. I take pictures like CRAZY - but often don't do a thing with them once they're on the computer. That's sad. I wish I had time to!

6. I am so happy and thankful that I am home with my kids and I wouldn't change it for the world (don't even think about it Austin). But I do miss my work - especially the people I used to work with. Especially the guys that became the brothers I never had - even though some of them were older than my dad :) There was something great about each and every one of them!

7. I am SO thankful for my family. I love my babies and the man that gave them to me. And I am SO fortunate to have the MOST amazing extended family in the world. I wish I could keep my kids just as they are now, we can all fit on the rocking chair - just if I could keep them still long enough to cuddle with me!!!

Sorry - that was boring, but I can't let Kim down!!

Now my turn to tag 7 of my friends! Not many of them blog - I may be able to come up with 5.

1. Natalie M. (I don't know your URL, but I know you have one and you are the one that urged me to start this blog!)
2. Melissa C. (I don't know your URL either, but I know you ahve one!)
3. Sarah
4. Jen (Ok - Jen doesn't know me, but her blog is the most amusing thing I've EVER seen. I've been reading it for over a year. It's my therapy. If you're a mom, you should check it out!)
5. Christa (create a blog my friend!)
