He's lovin' it...

Cameron is really enjoying football. Today he wouldn't stop until he got the flag (Even if the boy already crossed into the endzone!) He scored twice and got quite a few tackles (flags) - but most importantly - he LOVED it.

At the end, his coach awarded him with the "medal" for this week. He had THE CUTEST smile on his face. He was so proud.

He promptly got in the car and PASSED OUT!

Oh yeah - and then there's us ....

I'm always posting about the kids - I totally forgot to mention that Austin starts a new job on Monday! FINALLY he will no longer be doing support ... if someone's system goes down, HE WON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!! He's going to be designing systems. And I'm so SO happy to have my husband back! (Did I mention that I'M HAPPY!!!) Yay for us. Please, say a prayer that this is a good for our family as we hope it will be ;)

My life in pictures ...

Wow - it seems like, since school started, I have even less time to post. But I still take pictures :)

I'll try to at least post pics throughout the week so you know what's going on.

Yesterday as I was running around trying to get things ready to go to the Book Fair and go see McKenna play soccer, the kids were outside doing some of their favorite things. I had to snap a quick pic - it's times like these that we take for granted but are SO precious!!!

Cameron is playing with his new favorite toy - Bakugan - he LOVES them...and will most likely ask you to buy him 1 (or 6) for his birthday ... AND Christmas :)

Kennedy is jumping on the trampoline... she LOVES gymnastics and cheerleading. She also LOVES her Hannah Montana shirt. She gets her grove on to "It's the BESSSSSSSSSSSSSST of BOFFFF WOLDDDDDDDDDDs" numerous times a day.

Then there's the babe - who is exceptionally cute these days. I just look at his face and smile. He's SO darn cute ... (and he's actually sleeping a bit better). He's sucking on the strap of the car toy. Gross - maybe - but he LOVES it!

I don't even think that I posted about Kennedy having a hard time at preschool. It was so rough the first few times. They had to pull her off of me screaming and crying. This was so surprising, it's the same classroom that Cameron is in. She LOVES it there - she's attended vacation bible school there - so what's the deal??? Well, she's getting better. We've had two days with no tears at all!!! It helps that McKenna's brother is in her class!!!

Cameron is learning SO much at school. I'm so proud of him - and so pleased with his teacher Ms. Gorsuch! He's been SUCH a good listener lately and such a big helper.

And Cohen....well, he isn't fighting his sleep as much during the day. Which is a HUGE help for me. I hurt my back almost 2 weeks ago and it's just now starting to get better....it was so hard to bop him around and fight him to get him to go to sleep for 10 days! But he's getting better ... and he actually slept thru the night two nights ago. I know, the kid is almost 8 months old, he SHOULD be! I'm going to have to up my rate for Natalie when she comes to stay with the kids when we go to San Diego - which will be here before I know it!!!!!!!!!! AGHHHHHHHH. Sorry Natalie, you may not get to sleep thru the night on Thursday night, but they are adorable, hopefully that makes up for it :)

They're even adorable when their big sister bonks them on the head with the handle bar of their bike!

Some pics ...

I have the most adorable picture of Kennedy in her costume.

She hasn't taken these shoes off since we brought them home on Tuesday. Who WOULD take off blinking glass slippers? Notice her little hand - she's quite the princess in this costume!

Cameron would be wearing his if his mom didn't buy him the wrong size - GEESH! The replacement is already ordered - hopefully it'll be here soon!

And here are some pics of Cohen being adorable with his stinky face.

And he LOVES the bouncer that Mrs. Dimmick let us borrow! Thank you!

MIA ...

Sorry - It's been brought to my attention multiple times that I've been slacking this week.

It's been a long one.

We have been SO fortunate - we were only out of power for 11 hours and we didn't lose any major trees! School was cancelled on Tuesday though, so that was a long day!

Somehow, I hurt my back. It's killing me - and it doesn't help lugging around the 21lb stinker that is REFUSING to sleep these days.

I haven't mentioned it, but Kennedy has been going thru a MAJOR separation issue when I drop her off at school. To the extent that they had to pull her off of my shirt while screaming last week. It's been hard on me her. AMAZINGLY today she went with NO tears. It was a good day!!!

The kids picked out their Halloween costumes. Kennedy is THE MOST adorable Cinderella ever. Complete with blinking glass slippers. Cameron is Boba Fett - I guess he's a cool Star Wars guy ... he loves the costume, especially the noisy blaster :)

And Austin and I are working hard on finding our costumes for the 80's skating party we're going to next month. Ahhh, the 80's. Any suggestions are welcome!

Also, any suggestions on how to get my GORGEOUS baby to GO TO SLEEP for pete sake are more than welcome.

How to comment - well, let me tell you!!! (Because I know there are MANY of you out there reading and not commenting!) Click on the bottom of the post where it says the number of comments. Then you can read the current ones and add your own...PLEASE!

I've also added a cool feature to the blog. It's a service called Twitter. On the right side of the blog I'll be able to add quick updates - you know, when the kids are being stinkers and I'm not able to finish a proper post. And, I will!

I'll be back with pics ...

Oh - and Happy Anniversary to me ... It's been 9 years today. We are so romantic, we're sitting beside one another on the couch both typing on the laptop. I type faster :)

Great day for the zoo ...

The weather was GORGEOUS on Wednesday, so I took the opportunity to take the kids to the zoo! The kids had a great time at the prairie dog exhibit.
... we got to ride the train!

It wore Cohen out!

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree ...

My kids LOVE the camera - check out the cute pics that they took of the baby!

This is his new scrunchy face - he does it all the time. I love it...he also has started shaking his head "NO". He doesn't quite know what he's doing, but it's CUTE!

Beckham maybe???

So - I said that I regretted signing Cameron up for soccer. But man, he loved soccer too. And he did a great job. He had a smile glued to his face - It was SO cute.
He may have liked it even more because he was playing his FAVORITE friends!

He did a great job getting in there and kicking the ball.
And even trying to steal.
Daddy wore himself out coaching the team :)
And Kennedy had a blast with her friends too!
I think it was a successful game!

Last night ...

Well, he didn't end up in his crib last night ... well, not one of the 3 of them slept in their own bed last night! There was a thunderstorm at around midnight and the rest of the night looked like this ...

Oh - and my hair dryer fried this morning. Won't even turn on. I look NICE today :)

Watch out Buckeyes - here he comes!

Cameron started flag football this weekend. When we asked Cam at the beginning of the season if he'd like to play football or soccer, he quickly chose football. I signed him up, but then I heard about this WONDERFUL soccer program and how I HAD to sign him up. So I did - I regret it now ... but anyway.

Cam LOVED football yesterday. It was so cute - on Saturday when we had people over for the Buckeye game, Scott told Cameron that he needed to do the "spin move" to get by other guys in his way. No one talked much about it ... and then yesterday we had his first practice/game. Well, the first time the coach hands Cameron the ball and he has to run to the end of the cones ... what does he do? He comes up to a guy and spins and runs right past him!!! The other parents laughed and he was so proud. It's funny how they listen when THEY want to! I got a picture, but not of the actual SPIN :)

Cam also got the chance to run the ball during the game! It's funny how the kids run the opposite way to get away from the pack of boys from the other team, then they run the right way. But I think he did get a couple yards out of it :) He had fun, and that's what matters!

The littlest fan...

So - my little fan isn't quite so little anymore.

Cohen turned 7 months old yesterday ... It's hard for me to realize that he's closer to 1 year old than he is newborn :( And then I realize, HOLY COW, my other two are almost a year older as well!

We are working hard right now trying to figure out where we should have the massive gathering for their birthdays. It's keeping mommy busy.

We had a visit yesterday from a friend of mine that has a baby 3 weeks older than Cohen. This little girl is a superstar, she's crawling, pulling herself up, standing!

But that's ok ... I told them I don't mind if he stays little forever. Which is evident by this picture of what he's doing RIGHT NOW.

Yes, it's the FIRST time he slept in his crib. I admit it. Don't give me a hard time. He's my baby ... and he's 7 months old!

Our own little Shawn Johnson :)

So - I guess I confused quite a few of you with the pics of Kennedy in her shin guards. She isn't in soccer - yet :) She just enjoys wearing the gear that I picked up on clearance to her brothers practices!

But she IS in gymnastics. And we think she's the best!

Kennedy's day to shine!

Yesterday was Kennedy's first day of school! She was SO proud - and so were we! Daddy was able to stay home to drop her off and she was excited to see McKenna's brother Bryant in her class!

After class Kennedy wanted a sub sandwich and pizza - so we went to Donato's! (I would've bet $1000 that she would've picked chicken and french fries - but I was SO thankful when she didn't!)

She was VERY excited to see the shin guards that I picked up on clearance when I went to get Cameron's - so excited that she decided to wear them to Donato's. After Donato's we went straight to her first gymnastics class. Isn't her outfit great? She surely got a lot of smiles. She LOVED her new gymnastics class - and she was SO good. Daddy was proud!

And to soccer practice :)

Auntie Kris and Nat Nat were right!!!

The baby in the picture ...

It was Cameron ... but man, it SURE did look like Cohen to me :)

Brings tears to my eyes ...

My cousin has been waiting so long for this ...

Doesn't he look like the proudest daddy ever?!?!

Who does this look like?

Which kid is this??

How funny ....

Cohen has been making the silliest face as he's been teething ...

What's even cuter is that his big sister made the SAME face at this age!
Isn't this a beautiful face???
