Snow Fun ...

Kennedy isn't a huge fan of the snow - she doesn't like the cold, scarfs, snow pants, etc. She's most happy in her "short pants and tank top". But Cameron and McKenna had a great time!

Sleepover Success!!!

A few months ago - I posted about Cameron's failed attempt at a sleepover.

Well - this week we had a sleepover!!! Well, we had a friend sleepover at OUR house. And who might that friend be??? None other than McKenna!! Cam's best friend. It's cute how Cameron and McKenna have been so close for years - and now Cameron is starting to identify more with Kenna's brother, Bryant, who is Kennedy's age (and in her preschool class) and Kennedy and Kenna have a lot of fun together.

The sleepover was a blast for all.

Anything he can do, she can do better - or at least she'll try!!!

So - tonight we were trying on Cameron's hockey equipment. Of course, his sister had to try on some too.

She decided that she'd like to start skating classes on Saturday too.

So - we signed her up.

Maybe she won't make it to the Olympics for gymnastics, but we'll see her in the NHL ;)

Snow Day

The kids are really enjoying the snow ... and so am I :)

I do wish it would stop snowing so much and blowing so much that it's too cold for them to go to school though ;)

Miracle Baby ...

Throughout middle school and high school I was a member of the 3 amigos. But ... we were the 4 amigos. Christina, Heather, Jenny and I were always together ... and most likely we were cheering :)

Christina (who has graduated to Chrissy) started having kids first ...

Then it was me ... closely followed by Heather.

Jenny just joined the group this year. She was the youngest of the 4 ... and she did most things last ;)

Jenny found out early in her pregancy that she'd have a baby girl ... baby Brooke!

Well - baby Brooke didn't want to come on her own ... Jenny had to be induced. VERY long story short - Brooke was born and she was not breathing. For nearly 15 minutes ... she wasn't breathing. Jenny had an awesome team of doctors that made recommendations, Jenny and her husband Curtis made decisions (that took them to a hospital 100 miles away) and God answered many many prayers and their baby girl came home from the hospital 2 days after Christmas!! When she was just 10 days old!!!

Brooke recently had an appointment with a neurologist. She looks like a perfect baby. Her recovery has been nothing short of a miracle. They don't even want to see her again to evaluate her until she is 3 months old.

I had the opportunity to see her and she is amazing ... and so are her mother and her father. They have been so strong. I am so glad that I was able to meet her and hold her ... and hug my amigo. I hope it made her smile :)

So ... we're back!!!

We had two ear infections, one possible ear infection, one case of eczema, one rash, 4 antibiotics and one cream ... we've made it thru the past month :)

Christmas was great - but the family vacation was AWESOME! We had such a great time with the family. The kids have had a REALLY hard time not being surrounded by people every day. They keep asking when someone is coming over, who is coming over and what are we doing that day. They are exhausted though. They did a GREAT job.

I took 500 pictures ... no lie. 137 of them are online - if you aren't a stalker, send me an email and I'll send you the link ;)

Cameron starts hockey this Saturday. He's pretty excited. Cohen start MyGym the same day. That'll be good quality time for him and mommy or daddy. And at gymnastics on Tuesday they told me that they wanted Kennedy to start in the "advanced" preschool classes. Watch out Mary Lou!! :)

We're focused right now on Aunt Natalie's baby shower on January 31st. Then the next Saturday the 7th of February is Cohen's first birthday!!! A lot going on right now ... of course ;) I keep telling myself that after that, life will calm down.

We'll see!

Too busy to think ....

Well, we had Christmas ... it was great. One kid was on anti-biotics then. And then the day after - another kid is prescribed meds. Now the third is on them and we leave TOMORROW!!!

Really looking forward to the cruise - and I PROMISE I'll get pics of Christmas (which was wonderful - despite the sick kids!) and the trip as soon as I get back!
