Sending our love ...

As we are stuck here in the snow and ice ... 220 miles away Memaw is stuck in the snow and the ice in Louisville.

Memaw is Austin's mom's mom - Mary.

Memaw knew 4 yrs ago that there may be a lump on her lung. Well, on December 1st, we found out that that lump had grown 8 cm in 4 yrs (to 10cm) and it was now consuming most of her lung and pushing on her heart. She looked pretty darn good when we saw her for Christmas - all things considered!!!

I - of course - had my camera and was taking pics of Memaw with everyone. And then I snapped on of her and myself. Aren't we cute ;)

Today, Memaw is on morphine, coming in an out of conciousness and it seems the time we have left with Memaw is very limited. Just 2 weeks ago she was told that she may have 2-6 months ... it seems we're on the shorter end of that estimate.

After all of this bad weather ends, we plan to head to Louisville ... we'll surely be there by Saturday for Natalie's baby shower - FOR BABY ABIGAIL (yes, it's a GIRL)!

Today I'm wanting to send my love to Memaw ... Memaw is a truly amazing, wonderful, beautiful woman. I hope she knows just how much we love her ... just wanted to send our love. I do hope I get there in time to give her one last BIG hug. WE LOVE YOU MEMAW!

Haircut ...

Cohen had a haircut yesterday - I only took 20 pics, so I thought I'd share about 5 (or 6) with you:) Look how shaggy he was!!! You don't realize it until it's cleaned up!

Keepin warm with lunch ...

What's the perfect lunch for a snow day?? None other than Mac N Cheese and hot dogs of course!

Cohen enjoyed his!

Snow Day ...

So what do you do when you have 3 kids on a snow day. One is DYING to get outside, the other refuses the go outside and the third is too small to be outside for any real amount of time.

You bring the snow inside - of course!

Or ... you could call the babysitter (which Cameron has requested numerous times!) but I'm not sure she could make it up the driveway! :)

Denied ...

Cohen is hilarious ... he'll sneak around the corner, get REALLY quiet and as soon as we come around the corner he'll giggle and go FASTER FASTER FASTER.

I had to put a stop to the fun!

You're never too old for Star Wars...

I think the picture speaks for itself.

I'll keep the one of Austin picking his nose with the light saber for future blackmail :)

My baby boy ...

Will be one year old in just 2 weeks ... I'm not in denial anymore ;) I've accepted it and I 'think' I'm okay with it. Although he did have a molar pop thru yesterday. Why must they get big so fast!

He just loves snacking on cheesy poofs ...

But he refuses to sleep. Why should he, he might miss something!! But, if he's REALLY tired, all you have to do is give him your hand ... and he'll crash. Anywhere :)
